It's true that I have been very critical of Gary Waddocks ability to buy quality players over the past couple of years. However, I think it is now time for me to publicly apologise to GW and you fellow "not606ers" for my regular moaning and groaning. This time GW you have unearthed a real gem in our new forward 'Owen Goal'. Owen has scored 2 goals in 2 matches, probably one of he best striking ratio's in the league and his opener last week left the keeper rooted to the spot and most of the fans stunned. I feel sure that Owen will become our top scorer this season bearing in mind the way we are playing. Hats off to you GW and keep up the good work OG!!!!
I see the bookies agree with you. Can't find any odds anywhere about Owen being our top scorer. I've backed all our other players at 50/1 in the hope that the ball deflects off one of them from a sliced clearance.
