Compensation??

    Next week Greg Cunnungham and Neil Kilkenny are unavailable for our League Cup game because they are playing for their countries.
    However, we are paying their wages - if they miss a game for us like this I think that the countries should pay their wages that week - if not them, then FIFA should pay
    Thoughts?

    Cunninghams More of a loss but if we sign wilson, foster can play LB

    We can withdraw players from playing international matches should we wish., so it's not a huge deal. Besides, I imagine that players with international futures are probably paid more on appearances than others.

    I'm pretty sure clubs are compensated by the relevant FA's anyway...

    They are only compensated if injured.
    Also we can't withdraw if an offical fixture (like Cunningham's is an U21 Euro qualifier)

    Not a problem. Its good that our players are being capped, and if we cant beat Gillingham without Cunningham then we are not trying hard enough
