When some of us are calling for MM head, one of the most popular retorts (and a fair point) was, a new manager would have to spend zillions on overhauling the squad
Well now let's take a look at Warnock. He went to a Rotherham that couldn't win an argument, and in a few short weeks he has completely transformed their team AND with the same players
I am stilled convinced that we have a good team of players but the one thing that is holding us back is MM, tactically he is inept at best, style of football, playing players in their proven position he is just plainly clueless
Just remember, him and Warnock are in same age bracket so both come from the old school of football
Just think what a Warnock could do for our team
Do we need a new manager? Dam right , do we need a new manager and a overhaul of the squad? Not necessarily
Should MM go now, this close to the end of the season? Can't see any reason why not

Warnock has proved what a good manager can do with a pretty average bunch of players

    What a comparison

    Just an observation

    I'd say similar Weighty.

I like Mick but at times he does hold us back. Yesterday must win at home shackles should have been off and we SHOULD have had a go at Rotherham. Poor from Mick that.

<laugh>Your need to have people agree with you does make me chuckle.

I will stick by what I've said for a while that if we don't make the play offs MM should go......

....if he doesn't go I will still support itfc.........if nobody agrees with me ....I don't care<laugh>

Jesus christ you are such a petulant child at times it's quite funny.

You even liked Roy Keane who was a complete ******.

I get it you don't like McCarthy bla bla bla but he's under contract clear as day isn't going anywhere anytime soon so I don't know what we can do really?

Try and make sure he is given no option but to walk or give ME no option but to get rid, rather than sit back and do/say nothing. I know it hurts the fact that you backed a loser but no need for insults now is there?
What makes me a petulant child? I never wanted the clown in the first place and am amazed you lot have put up with such dross for so long!

Ah well, whatever, we all have our own opinions and most of us won't agree, so I shall leave it there

Well you throw your toys out the pram on occasion ( less than in yesteryear ) and comments right on full time like yesterday you just cannot make up.

I backed a " loser ? " What planet are you living on? He got us to play offs last season with one of the worst midfields I've ever seen at this level. This season hasn't been a roaring success but it's a far cry from the Keane and Jewell days. Injuries haven't helped but nor has Mick's decisions like yesterday when it was bloody obvious to play Pringle and Feeney and we didn't.

For what it's worth Spanish, to me it's a little irrelevant who we have in charge. Milne seemed deliriously smugly happy with how this season has panned out. I don't see Mick or a new manager being backed remotely in the summer window which doesn't leave us in a good position either way.

Wind back the clock to last summer Niles / Fraser / Knudsen / Pitman and Douglas seemed on paper quite good additions to compliment the squad.

Should we get a new manager in - they'd probably want more than any 5/6 this summer. I'd imagine they'd want 10-12 and for that very reason alone it makes it a damned difficult position for us to be as supporters.

Am I happy right now? No! I'm pretty ****ed off like the rest of you. Yesterday Mick got it completely wrong and the season does appear over.

What can I do about it? Not a lot sadly. It's damned annoying being a town fan. We're ( barring a bloody miracle ) stuck in this damned league for YET ANOTHER SODDING SEASON.

So I really don't know what we do Spanish, and everyone?! At least the academy does seem to be producing again. Mick has said if the seasons over a few youngsters will get their chance before the end of the season - lets hope they do. I'm very irritated with Mick's insistence on this back 4 this season - I don't want Chambers at RB and Knudsen shouldn't play every sodding game at LB. We've some good talented defenders who have gone out on loan, that for my money SHOULD have played this season.

Mick is damned stubborn and it does frustrate me about him. That and the style of play are my main gripes. I'm also very irritated after the Reading loss we went back into our shell after playing some good footy at the start of the season.

This season really feels like a massively wasted opportunity to me. Especially if the bottom 3 come down next year that makes next year appear mission bloody impossible to get up as the parachute payments and budget Newcastle / Villa / Sunderland will have is absurd. Both Derby and Boro can't go up and that's already another team that will throw ££££ at it. Should Norwich come down I can sadly see them doing a Burnely and winning it next year so on the supporter hand it's funny if Norwich do go down - but should they, that won't help us next year.

I'm just quite disillusioned with the whole thing frankly. I wish I'd never met Ian Milne as he showed me how content the club is being top 10 in the championship. It basically appeared " if we go up great if not we're going to try this approach for five years or so ".

So yeah, in a nutshell which I said above, Mick or no Mick, I'm fed up Spanish!!!!

To those who have been going regularly for the past 6 years or so, is the football, served up now, much better than that of the RK and PJ eras, coz the games I have seen on TV under MM have been absolute dross.

<laugh> You can pick almost any manager and say he will fail..............and if you wait long enough sure enough he will..........Mourinho is a good example.

We didn't actually lose Ford...we decided not to give him a contract......so I believe.....

....if Arsenal and Spurs are sniffing around does that mean our academy are doing something right?

You have to admit, Spanish has been totally consistent in his denigration of MM, unlike JWM who has been off the scales at both ends! <ok>

That wasn't a dig at Spanish by the way....

Even if as some believe(and I'm close) that MM is the wrong man for Ipswich now.......doesn't mean he was the wrong man three years ago...or two years ago.
