I would say Sterling has more pace and that's it, I still haven't seen enough from him to say he's anything more than a speedster. Welbeck holds the ball up better, links up with those around him much better, is so much stronger and a lot better in the air, he even dribbles with a lot more control most of the time, Sterling's first touch just isn't that great a lot of the time.

I'd say it's clear to see Welbeck is the more accomplised player, he's doing it at the top of the game; champions league, premier league and England, and Sterling isn't. No contest.

The other question mark, it pains me to say this but I think Henderson is a better player than Kagawa. By quite a bit too.

De Gea is far superior to Reina though.

jesus ****ing chirst chief, give Kagawa time, he's going to improve, there's no doubt about that, if he doesn't succeed at United, then i'm Messi.

Kagawa really hasn't settled at all, I watched a lot of him for Dortmund and he was brilliant but he really looks like he is struggling to adapt the English game, mainly the physical aspect. He's still pretty young so I hope he does come good, but I think he may have to write this season off and concentrate on getting up to speed with our game for next season.

Yeah, I appreciate he needs a bit of time to settle and so may yet/will probably come good.

No room for passengers in champions league matches though, if he isn't up to it he should not play. Simple as that.

I based my assessment of him and Henderson on how they are playing now, not what might happen. Because it might not happen.

Why are we even comparing the miserable scousers with United? they are not even our rivals FFS. They should compare themselves to WBA and to Newcastle.

United- City comparisons would be more appropriate <ok>

Dunno about far superior, but definitely better based on form and inherent ability. Not sure how you can claim Reina is superior on punching ability when he's inferior in pretty much everything else.

Over the last couple of seasons De Gea and Reina have probably made about the same number of mistakes that have led to goals, but for every mistake De Gea has made three or four top drawer saves whilst I can't remember the last time Reina made a save that any decent keeper wouldn't have been expected to make.

I don't think it's as much the physical aspect, it's more the change in position. At Dortmund he was the number 10, pretty much everything came through him and he was always in the game. At Utd he's having to play in a wider role a lot of the time, and so finds it harder to get into the game. He also receives the ball further from the goal, so has more to do than he's used to.

kagawa will come good. I think it is a question of United as a team finding out his best position, and his strengths. If he can do a job for Dortmund, i am sure he could do the same for us. I am glad we have got the option to use someone like him. <ok>
