When HR took over we were 11 points worse than at the corresponding time last season. After Saturday that is just 2 points now. I realise we survived last Season by winning half our remaining games but our remaining fixtures are easier this year. Massive game Saturday now and a win would give us real momentum

I actually think we got 3 points at probably the 2nd hardest of our remaining games at St Marys. rest of the season will be a breeze believe me, Wigan (about time and they can't keep escaping) Villa about time, Reading seem to be falling apart after their lucky streak

Yes readings fixtures are tough and I cannot see them staying up. Villa and wigans are a bit easier and we probably need to beat both of them

saturdays game is massive & if we don't win then the win at saints counts for nothing.

I can see it going to the last day with Us Villa and Wigan, I do think that 34/5 points will be enough this season and out of our next 10 games we can get there if we get a win on Saturday, I can see Villa getting 7/10 pts and Wigan the Same but Reading will struggle as they have some tough games to come and I put them on a 6 pts which will see them go down. I hope it does not have to come to last game of season as I could not take another day at work having to watch it on a stream that cuts out 2 mins to go.

Eeeasyyy LIUTB. If we start thinking it's gonna be a breeze, that's the last thing it will be. As Jack says, compared to last year the hole's not as big as it could've been AND we've got the lion's share of the top teams out of the way this time, BUT us Rs ain't known for taking out the relative minnows. Over the years it's usually been the other way round tbf.

Expectation leads to disappointment so the saying goes. Taking it cautiously one game at a time AND quiet prayer is what we need to see this thing through to an acceptable conclusion.

Let's not disturb the energies eh?!!!

It's interesting that the Rs are only 2 points off where they were after 28 games of last season, isn't it? This season I felt that a club might survive relegation with a record low number of points - if that makes sense? - as it seemed that the bottom six had thus far accumulated fewer points than at this time last year at least. But looking at www.statto.com this is not the case.

I don't half spout a load of pony at times.

Last season we didn't pick up a single point away from home during the run in...it was only winning our last 5 home games that kept us up....this year i can see us picking up points at villa, reading & fulham so in a way that takes some pressure off the home games although it goes without saying that 5 home wins on the spin will do us the world of good.....5 wins & 2 draws will give us a chance.

We've won 3 games in 3/4 of the season.

As long as we don't lose any of the next 4 games, then we're in with a chance, if we lose one of them then it's back to square one.

Sunderland, Villa, Reading and Wigan games will all be high tension affairs. If we win these we will also be damaging them....may be enough. Very big ask on season long form though. I fully expect LR to be a cauldron on Saturday, but the game to be like Stoke at home last year, ragged then a blissful finish.

I would be happy to lose one of them if we win the other three

They have to be dispatched Saturday any which way

Reading V Villa... Norwich V Saints Saturday

Anyone noticed Wigan don't play until the 17th and then they have Newcastle we could be 2 points above them by then and out of the bottom three ... Black Cats and Villa we must win those games
