With just 6 days to go, it has seemed an eternity, since we just missed out on the play offs, saw more than half the team disappear, where were we going to get a team for the coming season, knowing there was little or no money. Then a friendlies fixture list that was as long as half a seasons matches, to be played in 3 weeks !!!! Then the miracles started, New Signings, Whelpdale, Lee,then scoring goals, Its looking exciting, in fact too good to be true, then our new striker ends up with an injury putting him out for half the season, then CODY is he coming back !! welcome to the roller-coaster ride of Football and Gillingham FC, I can see us doing well and a return to Div 1. But it could all end up in tears, Here,s hoping next Saturday at 3 pm the sun is shinning, Preistfields is full and by 5 pm, 3 points on the board and maybe just maybe a goal difference that puts us on top of the league, where hopefully we stay. Stay faithful and loyal no matter what happens. UTG
