You could apply the same logic to Spurs - we were almost out of sight but bottled it and now we're relying on you to drop points and/or Chelsea to lose against Munich.

 

Oh dear. Before some people turned up, everyone in this thread was in unison and together hoping things could go our way. Now look.

 

Yes I called this game wrong. That still does not change the fact we have been awful and bottled the last 4 games. PLease god let us win our last game, but the truth is its unlikely.

 

Looks like in the competition of bottlers we are 2nd. But we have the chance to be 1st after West Brom. What a pathetic end of the season..

 

The logic does apply to Spurs, both Arsenal and Spurs have that connection, and are brother in arms in terms of bottlers, we are in the same boat.

 

Everyone was hoping this game would go our way - I watched the game with my heart in my mouth after the penalty and gave out a loud cheer when that final whistle went.

But its sickening to see so many Arsenal fans glorying in Aston Villa, as if that somehow negates our issues. I am still seething at how much we have bottled our chances over the last 4 games, and we must not pretend that we are all of sudden doing well again because other teams are failing and handing us another chance.

 

Exactly We all wanted Spurs to slip up and they did, now we have a great chance for 3rd again and yet some people just want to whine on about how crap we are. Lowest form of support in my opinion

 

I just turned up now, and thought i'd hit some reality here instead of acting like everything's glorious now, because it ain't, and even if we get 3rd place it still won't be glorious.

In total this has been a sh!t season, we have lost 14 games in total, conceded over 60 goals, and achieved no major success in silverware, what the f--k's to be happy about? This is why we moved to the Emirates? We were told something else, we were obviously lied to, and so we have a right to be speaking out to the rubbish we see. We didn't move to the Emirates to scrap for top 4 spots, and go 6 years without silverware at the Emirates.

 

Stop pretending we've been anything other than crap this season. No matter what happes the season has been a failure and a disappointment

Each team is dependent on the results of other teams. Spurs wouldn't be 3rd if we didn't have the most terrible start to a season in the PL era, and we wouldn't be able to get back to 3rd if they didn't have that **** patch.

38 games for a season, the team that ends with the points for 3rd will have deserved it. Enough with this "rely on this" "don't deserve that" bullshit. You are pathetic.

You do realize that evry team relies on other teams during the season one way or another

 

Exactly Every team is affected by the results of those around them. No team operates in isolation and they all depend on the results of other teams.

 

The lowest form of support are people like you, a good analogy is the friend of an alcoholic, people like you are the ones who don't give the proper sounded advice needed for the alcoholic friend to get the needed help to recover and become good, instead you're like the yes man on the side just saying everything's fine, not that bad bla bla bla.
