Take your mind back to this time last year and looking forward been back in the PREM then fast forward a year on and we have lost 4 of our best players and Routledge plus our manager,so Colo and Tiote could be next!!
What I want to know is why the f**k is Pardew employed?
Picture the scene Pardew driving into training ground,"good morning lads",morning boss.
    "Where's Colo?"He's gone to Arsenal."Oh ok."
    "Where's Tiote?" He's gone to Chelsea."Oh ok."
"Where's Joey?" He's gone to QPR. "JESUS CHRIST nobody tells me anything,do I not have a say around here?"

    Fairly sure that won't happen.

Warning : I was also fairly sure Barton , Nolan and Carroll would stay.

Pardew just has to get on and manage whichever players are at the club though to be fair. We know he does not have a lot of say on the make up of the squad and I'd imagine he knew all this when he signed the contract. Given their reputation the subject would have undoubtedly been raised. If he agreed to work within the parameters they've set, he just has to do what he is doing, accept it and keep trying to do his best.

Edit: If they sold Colo and Tiote, they are officially insane. I'd love to see the threads trying to put a positive spin on that one! Won't happen, I think even they know that would be pure stupidity. I think they've done their cost cutting for one window.

Colo is the captain, on a considerably high wage with a couple years left on his contract. Tiote is on a reasonable wage and has 5 years left and has already expressed no desire to leave. They are both in stronger positions than the other three

Nolan rejected a contract, Carroll got greedy and Barton was told he could leave.

Colo will probably go next summer. As discussed with Smudger on another thread, he has two years left and will have to agree to a significant wage cut beyond that. So in time we know he's going cause players don't accept wage cuts unless they are leaving Man City or some other giant paying big wages. I can't see how he'll go this summer, it would cripple us, but I have stopped saying "never going to happen"!
