if BUTS and wherefor's apart, from what people say we seem to have a good striker, 2 good midfielders a good linkman and 3 good defenders (2 on loan! 1 unproven ):D with a proliferation of average "attendee's"...:emoticon-0110-tonguthere for the dosh! to make up the numbers and NO sense of duty or responsibilty.. this influences our results, not hit the post, we wuz robbed, if only......and other decisions!:emoticon-0120-doh:

Years ago to get better pay players had to play and play well,:emoticon-0115-inlov nowadays it seems when players need some dosh it's "agent get me a new club, so I can get a new porshe etc"<cool><monster> Players came up the ranks and were sometimes rewarded with decent signing on fee's an extra tenner a week or transferred to a higher league to financially benefit.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

ATTITUDE OF SOME SEEMS TO BE If I sign for them I will be one of 8 strikers, get a good wedge and might even have to play occassionally!!<wah>

I think all players should be pay on display so to speak. I totally disagree with players being sat on the bench, or playing with the reserves when they are earning several thousands of pounds per week. PER WEEK! If I showed up to work for 1 hr per week i wouldnt get paid for the other 39 hours....Agents should be shot <grr>

The advent of Bosman shifted the power to the players (and their agents).
To be fair you do hear of some players taking a pay cut to get first team football, so they are not all bad?

is it fair to say 0.00001% of players will take a pay cut! Yes, when they get past 30 they may drop from 150k to 149k per week or retire
