I have noticed a pattern emerging with Cole. 4 goals have been scored in 2 matches by players who get up high in the air (meant to be a goalkeepers advantage point) and head it past him. Larrieu please...PLEASE teach him how to come out and catch. Another game and we have nearly lost 2pts due to his inability to catch the sodding ball!! On the other hand - HAHAHA Exeter lost 0-3 to Huddersfield.
I was listening to the radio and after the equalised I switched off in disgust, I couldn't listen to it anymore. If any of us thinks we have sunk as low as we can - think again. Shocking! Sometimes I wish I didn't care, I'd be a much more contented person!
Well well well............... Sparksie,who is back where he should be commentating on ALL of Argyles matches, was beside himself when we didn't get a penalty earlier. You missed a very very exciting last period in this match Mrs lalala. It was hard to listen at times but the end result was worth it. As for Cole, well I have been saying this all season hobo. The man is a liability and I cannot for the life of me see why he is on the pitch. He has to be dropped Mr Larrieu and you have to pull on the shirt again. You can be excused for thinking this was deja vous Mrs lalala as it had all the hallmarks of going the same way as the last match or even a loss. But, lets not dwell on that now as we have 3 more points. As for Fletcher's managerial prowess, he has now gained 7 points from 12. If that was a season average then promotion not relegation would be on the cards. I don't expect it to be but nonetheless you cannot fault that as a record in a results driven business as we are all reminded. I take my hat off to him this week as he did change things and appologise for my premature assessment which I hope turns out to be as good as my predictions.
I had similar thoughts about Fletcher when we were 2-0 up sensible but they soon evaporated along with our lead. I'm sorry I missed the exciting end but Argyle frustrate me, I just couldn't listen to anymore because I could see us losing the match - there was still 30 mins of play left when the equalised! All's well that ends well though eh?
I think our luck is changing...............yet another penalty............Waltons at least is a good penalty taker.
The commentators were beside themselves when a penalty was NOT awarded earlier for Argyle plymborn and they could not believe it was not given and a red card issued. You may know that Sparksie however is renowned for his impartial reporting. The other guy Chris Errington is not so green tinted and he was more put out than Sparksie was. It did seem that the football gods had made another decision though until then. They are a tease aren't they. I personally don't care how Argyle get their points this season so long as they get enough of them in the end. We needed this today as Hereford won.
Agreed sensible. We got lucky. However Swindon are doing well and watching how they beat Accrington I am a bit unsure of our chances. They break at defences well and our defence as we know is shambolic at times. I think if Cole continues to play, it won't be long until every team will know how to beat him. Get a high cross in and head it in!
