Does anyone think that either of these players will come back and play for us again? Aquilani is younger but has had a poor season with just 1 goal and 1 assist. Cole has 9 goals and 2 assists, not great either. Do we get what we can for these 2 or could either of them be a useful squad player?
I would of liked to see either of them given a chance - I'd of much rather seen Cole on the right than Downing, for example.......or Aqua over Adam........but don't expect them to be back at Anfield anytime soon.
To be honest LG I actually missed Cole at times this year and I really didn't think I'd be saying that when he went on loan. Doubt we'll see either back in a Red shirt though unless we get no takers (more likely in Aquas case I fear).
I think Cole has a chance at Liverpool. We could have done with 9 goals this season, heck that would have made him our 2nd top scorer!!! I can't see Aquaman coming back here though, He had his chance last season and for oe reason or another opted to go to Italy
Would love for both to come back and be a success (for obvious reasons) but neither of them will. They both want a move from Anfield and they are both happy where they have been this season too. I'm sure Aquilani's deal including a buy activation that has been reached too?
