Gutted to have missed it in the end.

I would have voted for Taylor for 100% work and constructive effort for this game, but he lost out to Hall (two goals) purely for blasting a ball over the bar when he could have knocked it in more simply - and even dummied it so that the two players behind him had a completely open goal to tap it in to.

Much as I have criticised Taylor in the past, this was by far his best game since he burst on to the scene nearly 2 years ago. Still wayward with his final ball and should have won it at the end. The 2 newcomers looked promising. Jacobson's fault for the second goal and Richards was poor throughout. I still don't like Parry playing up front and he was the weak link up there today

It was quite an exciting game at the end and we could well have shaded it. Taylor was lively going forward all match though his final ball did not match up to his efffort - he now has a real chance to build on this display and cement his place in the team. I have always rated Jacobson but he looked low on confidence throughout. I also felt sorry for Richards who is suffering from being asked to play in different positions. The same could be said for Parry who is nowhere near as effective playing through the middle. The two new players both did well - Helan is a bit raw as might be expected but clearly has talent. I was impressed with how Proctor held the ball up and linked well with the wingers though he was less than convincing in front of goal. I would have taken a point after we went 2-0 down - surely Hall must start at Hereford- and even though Taylor missed the chance to win it we must be thankful for Weale's wonder save in injury time. Even after that, how the ref could not give us a penalty for the shirt pull at the end is a mystery- the linesman had an even better view but did nothing.

:emoticon-0101-sadsmi think Taylor has had the proverbial kick up the bum off GT, he must realise now that if he doesn't put a shift in he'll be on his way out...so keep that work rate up mate<ok>, i think Proctor, Parry and Morgan might work well together, but too many players were playing out of position to form any opinion, i thought Helan done OK, and well happy with the draw:biggrin:, i also think Hall as been told to pull his socks up too as he was a different player when he come on:emoticon-0112-wonde, and about time too, but again our big failing to many mistakes at the back...and thats a worry:shocked:
