Being one of the most in-form teams in the football league, can't help wonder what might have been if we'd had Andy for a few games earlier. Probably be sniffing round play-offs.
What an excellent win by Pompey Reserves ! Hope we can beat Plymouth to finish the season on 60 points. The Great Escape is complete (who needs 'Arry Redknapp ?). Well done, and many thanks Awfs
Really good result - topping it off with 4 more Points would be amazing - huge credit to Awf's, Hardyman, Macca and the players themselves....showing what they are made of and giving us plenty to cheer about and look forward too. What a great set of results.
5 games 5 wins, AA has to get the job next year. To take the same squad and turn things around like he has, is the mark of a great manager not only tactically, but he obviously has the gift of man management to a very high level. You can bet other clubs will be looking at what's going on down here already.
Yep totally agree - particularly after hearing his radio interview today - he is calm and cares - he's got the work rate out of the players to be excellent in all areas - he's allowed them to be creative where it counts and I am now more than happy for him to be offered the job - we are at that time of the season when player capture starts to commence behind the scenes - I actually think we don't need massive changes. AA...quality management of a team that was in dire straits. We owe him a proper chance.
Fully agree with both meowth & Eastney. Awfs must be offered the job permanently, to be assisted by an experienced Jim Smith type person. Already looking forward to next season immensely
All that talk of non league football for the mighty blue army! What a load of Cobblers! PUP lets get promotion next season, we deserve it!
as well as great results being we keep FL status next season, 5/5 could be putting significantly more coffers in the pot as well, from a league position point and season ticket sales hopefully it will be 7/7
