Hi, Just seen a message to say that Clyne has signed for £1.5m which sounds great news! But we need a goalie and two CB's surely. Also who else reckons that Buttner won't be signing - I don't think it will happen now.
Firstly it's Clyne. Secondly until its on the OS I wouldn't get excited. Buttner was pretty much done and dusted last week and look at the deal now Things can change very quickly.
Yes but you are implying the deal has stalled etc, you are also implying the deal was 'pretty much' done and dusted last week. Yet have no proof.
Thank you RLGB for pointing out my obvious error in such a gracious manner. You would have noticed that in the main body of the message I spelt it correctly- why are you so patronising? The message came via the news portal www.newsnow.co.uk but originated from the Daily Star which I don't read by the way.
Dan and Beef Dripping seem to be having some sort of time of the month today. Reports suggested that the Buttner deal was very much done a week ago, yet it's all gone quiet since because of this third party thing. Yet still nothing has happened despite it supposedly being resolved. All I am saying is the Clyne deal looks very much on, however things can change very quickly in football and until it is on the OS I won't make any pre judgments saying it is a 'done deal'. The only place I have heard that it has been done is off some bloke on Twitter that works at Sky that says it has been agreed for £1.5m. It's just a bit light to go on...
Just this on Newsnow http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football...sign-Crystal-Palace-defender-Nathaniel-Clyne/
Not at all, all I was saying basically was give the newish guy a break. Sometimes the way you word your posts, it seems you are just trying to be a prick for the sake of it.
Yep but sometimes all this latent testerone that seems prevalent on this site can prevent some people saying what they want to say. Also just because somebody spells a name wrong (and typing on an iPad is not the easiest) doesn't make somebody an idiot. I stated what I said in good faith. If I am wrong I don't really care. If I am right then I will care abit more, but what is important is that people feel they can air their views without being vilified or castigated and belittled- after all having an opinion is what makes supporting football so great.
