Taylor is one of several players who are out of contract at the end of the season and, while Darrell Clarke has confirmed that talks are ongoing over a new deal, Taylor has been reportedly stoking the interest of a number of Championship clubs and others in the Scottish Premier League. Taylor said: "I thought that the speculation might affect me, but I don't feel that it has. I am still a Bristol Rovers player and I will keep working hard and trying to score goals until I am told any different. My contract is until the end of the season as it stands and all I am thinking about at the moment is trying to score as many goals as I can to help the club get promoted." If we don't get promoted this year I think that Taylor among others will leave in the Summer, if we get promoted then I think they will stay This window could well tell us how interested this club is in going forward, if we keep the players we have and add a couple more we could well be looking seriously at a second promotion
