http://www.safc.com/news/20111108/south-stand-we-want-your-views_2256213_2510025 Anyone done this survey? I have said that if they mean by 'lively singing section' there will be a light touch on stewarding, especially for standing that would be a good thing. I also suggested offering 'general admission' as in groups of supporters being allowed flexibility to sit/stand together, plus concessions behind both goals so families can sit/stand together.
Some of the stewards are ok but others are like the gestapo. The power will go to their heads. From what I can gather, most of them are mags anyway. Jobsworth ****s.
just done survey and gone for mix of livley and family but that behind goals need to be a priority for filling.
It would be good to see Sunderland encourage young supporters at lower and reasonable prices by having a junior 'enclosure' in the lowest tier of both the South and North stands. Just like the 'boys enclosure' in the Roker (Did girls not go to football matches then?). This would also have the benefit of filling up those lower seats that are often empty.
Totally agree with moving away fans. The majority don't bring enough to fill the South Stand so let's put them "upstairs" and get the Stadium rocking again.
Was there any consultation regarding where the fans were getting moved to? If there was I missed it. Who decided the North Upper? I thought the cells were below the South stand. My ticket is North Stand Lower, and as said in an earlier thread, i am not risking p*ss, coins, bottles etc getting thrown onto my head. I will be moving elsewhere. Too young for the library (East), too old for the South West psycho's, too poor for the la di da's in the West so the South Stand looking good.
How can they know anyone who applies for a season card for there will be willing and able to sing. Unless they give them a questionnaire to fill in and maybe make them pass a singing test
