What are your thoughts on closing Ashton Road on match days?

    From approx 1pm till 17:30pm

Buses would have access as well as local residents and those who have mobilty difficulties

Not forgetting Bristol players and staff

Closed roads would be from Winterstoke Road/Marsh road junction

    to Duckmoor road/Ashton road junction

Not too worried if they shut it as I park in a car park off Winterstoke Road and walk from there - is this a proposal?

Ashton Boys FC use the park for training from 10.30 and matches which are played later. There are also other clubs, community groups using the park.

So we allow the Bristol City players and staff through but stop the officials and the opposition mmmmm not sure if the FA/FL would allow that but I suppose we could try.

It sounds extremely sensible to me! Safety is paramount and anything that reduces the risk of injury or death on the roads around Ashton Gate on match day is welcome.
