I don't think they would give a flying **** what junior hack says about them. He clearly has some personal axe to grind, hence the bitchy comments. Otherwise a fairly accurate description of the match.
I'm not impartial, I'm an admirer of the way they play football, the way they develop youth, and the way the club is run (their owners take dividends, and they are still in profit with a newish stadium) and I have a lot of Gooner mates who are very generous and a good laugh. My main criticism of them is that their fans are too quiet and critical when they should be thanking their lucky stars. Arsenal's ambition is to win things, not to finish 4th as Whittingham bitchily alleges, but they won't mortgage their soul or pay Falcao whatever it is a week, or sack Wenger because he hasn't won eveything every year. Financially they are miles behind City, Chelsea and United because they haven't bought their way to titles, but they give them a very good run. So I don't think Clive, a fan of a chaotic club run by a variety of idiots for many years, with the huge ambition of fnishing 17th, has much of a point, except the traditional English sour grapes.
Good assessment, but somewhere there you would expect them to try to push on without stupid signings like Falcao. Steady on though Stan, if my Mrs was fat and ugly I wouldn't want you telling me so
