Chris Ramsey has told Queens Park Rangers' official site that he was happy with Clint Hill's performance against Sheffield Wednesday last night. Ramsey has generally left Hill out of his QPR starting line-up this season, but he was re-introduced to the team and helped them keep a clean-sheet yesterday. Although QPR were not able to grab a victory in a 0-0 draw, Ramsey was still pleased by the display that Hill put in. “Clint played very, very well and contributed to us keeping the clean sheet," he said. “He’s had to bide his time, but he’s kept himself in good condition and his performance tonight showed just what he’s all about.” Hill has played just three times in the Championship to date, but he was restored to the QPR line-up, after their defensive struggles so far. The R's have conceded the highest amount of goals in the second-tier to date, with the side letting in 22 goals their first 12 matches. Hill is one of Ramsey's most experienced players, and it seems that he could be set to keep his place in the line-up for the foreseeable future. QPR's next match comes against Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday, where they will be looking to pick up just their second victory in eight games.
