I see that Kelvin has confirmed that we are trying to get Clayton Donaldson from Crewe. This would be one hell of a signing for the club. Personally I feel that we will be down the queue a bit, Donaldson has stated he reckons he's good enough for the Championship, plus Crawley have told him to write his own wage cheque out. Live in hope though !
Interesting to see that Sky Sports are reporting that Crawley are interested in signing Kedwell. Seems a bit odd that as soon as a striker comes available, they are straight in for him. Maybe Donaldson won't be on his way there. It has all gone a bit quiet, I reckon he expected to come back from holiday and find a load of offers waiting, maybe they have not all materialised. Certainly he is a much better bet than Kedwell, at least he has proved himself in this league. Constable found it hard going stepping up and I would not be too suprised to see that same happening with the Wimbledon man.
