Yeah same here, if Millen isn't going to play him then no point in him being here though. He'd be the perfect player for the 4-5-1 we're trying to play at the moment, him in AM would work well. Oh well, hopefully another couple out on loan in the next few days then a CM in would be good.

Things go from bad to worse. Clarkson in the 'hole' was a good feeder for Maynard. I dispair, I really do.

.......except that he was played there so rarely, will it actually make any difference

I am a DC fan, thought he was a pretty clinical finisher but of course in this strikers graveyard, he was given precious little to convert.

As we all know, many prolific goalscorers have arrived here, had their confidence and ability massively diminished only to leave and resume regular scoring again...

Watch him score bucket loads for Brentford, he's too good for league 1...

Lacks a yard of pace to be top quality - not sure he has the ability to be the answer to our lack of creativity in midfield - a month of playing will do him good - may free some wages to bring in someone on loan

What I liked about him was that he always gave 100% and would run his socks off for the cause, unlike one or two I could mention in the current squad.

I wouldn't have ever put "run his socks off" and David Clarkson in the same sentence myself.

Jeremy Clarkson is more mobile on Top gear.

Apparently Keef's made an inquiry for Jeremy Clarkson on loan.
Also he's asked about Tony Benn - he's heard he's a left winger!

With Benn on the left, Portillo or Boris J on the right, who would you play at CM - Clegg?

We'd certainly bore the opposition to distraction... !

Got to admit I agree with banksy on this one, think he will be alright in league 1 but not the championship

...AND Banksy and R OR D "run your socks off" doesnt mean 100m in 10 secs..... HE GAVE 100%...

I ALWAYS LIKED HIM, he did keep us in the mix a few times last season before NM came back....

There are strange goings on down at the gate......... we will probably do stupid tomorrow like ...dam run out of ink

I know what it means thanks, and he didn't, I have sat in the Dolman and watched him make absolutely no attempt to make any challenge for a ball cos it was in the air. sorry shocking player. even the 'good' volley goal he scored last season was mishit. (and i was about 6 feet away from him at the time!)

He did have a good touch and good vision but it simply was not good enough, he doesn't get games for us for a reason.

    Nice enough bloke though.
