2 Great results tonite but is anyone else getting ****ing sick of hearing the excuses for city; tbf they're often being made by non city fans as well.
People saying 'Yeah but theyre missing Yaya and Kompany' Blah ****ing blah
We've missed our captain for 90% of the season, we've had endless injuries in defence, cleverly has been missing for basically the whole season as has ando, youngs been out for a while as has owen, we've lost fletcher and we're currently without our first choice and back up keeper our best player in rooney, nani and possibly our best player so far this season in jones. Where are the excuses for us ??? No one says we were poor due to injuries they just say we've played poorly.

Sorry for the rant i realise its a night to celebrate a bit as were now level on points when like 2 weeks ago loads of people were saying the title race is over :/ ****ing idiots lol; just wanted to get this rant off of my chest just so sick of people making excuses for them

Suddenly with a couple of players out, City are having a torrid run of form.

In all honesty, leagues aren't won in the summer when the grass is green an its short sleeve weather. I always have a feeling that when it get's to the -degrees,the Nasri's and Clichy's become strangely subdued. If we could keep up with them until the winter hits, then it's on.

I quite like seeing all the excuses rolled out for City. It shows that no matter how much they spend they still just aren't seen as a really strong team who can take injuries and missing players in their stride <ok>

waste of a post, Mancini siad i was his fault, not an excuse, not like the bucket load of excuses when ye lost to Blackburn and Newcastle and Liverpool.

Excuses excuses, this is not a general reply to mancs but just to the numpty who psoted this inaccurate bollox thread

Yet you still give more excuses as to why you are not top, our this is missing that is missing, peure bullshiiiiiiit.

Christ, you must be furious. Your typing has become atrocious, much like your reading skills.

Nobody mentioned Mancini. What was being said that City supporters, (irrelevant) Liverpool supporters, Chelsea supporters Arsenal supporters etc etc etc all have zero sympathy with united when their first team gas been decimated by injuries, claiming that if Uniteds squad was good enough they'd do it regardless of that fact, and as such can not be seen as an excuse for a couple of poor results. Now suddenly city have a couple of key players missing and lo and behold thats the only reason united are still in with a shout. Laughable.

Another fickle rant from a biased dipper.

It shows that the key strength for city is Yaya toure, and not Kompany. Toure provides the power and the cutting edge in that midfield together and without him they just do lots of pretty passing. Truly a one man team IMO.

Also they have lost that crucial quality of winning when not playing well. I think many teams and managers are finding them out: Play a cautious game, sneak a goal and defend with 11 men behind the ball after that. Like Mancini said earlier, they are experiencing what United has been for the last 2 decades. A point against City is now a very good point. Why should you go and attack them?
