The day before the match and still no thread, so thought I'd start one myself. Having snooped on a Forest forum, seems like most of the fans are a bit frustrated by their season petering out a bit and predict a narrow win, though a number also see us as a team against which to undo the shackles and go out for a high-scoring win. Forest have struggled for goals (only scored two more than us!), particularly recently (only 2 in their last 6 matches), but also have the joint 3rd best defensive record. With that in mind, I think 1-0 to them is the most likely result. Thoughts? Is Vyner likely to start again, given his comparative 'mare against Brighton?
Don't think Vyner will start, so I guess it leaves Mark Little who's hardly impressed, one things for sure we need Ayling back ASAP, we'll get a positive result tomorrow I think
Junior's on about changes. Fielding ?Agard ? Wilbraham ? Is Baker fit ? Little seems a certain starter. Junior's definitely a chip off the old block. Last week he mentioned fisticuffs, this week we read about hand grenades and then 'I noticed 1 or 2 didn't fancy it 2nd half'. After the Forest game : Win - I'm pleased the team carried out my instructions. Lose - I'm afraid the team didn't carry out my instructions at all. Good old Gary. Mr Lansdown, I pray you're lucky. Your decision to employ LJ was certainly not based on ability or experience. Our Championship experience this season and Black Arab friends will ensure you fund transfers this summer, unlike last. But sadly, I fear greatly it will end in tears.
Wow Redprintt, didn't take you long to get the daggers out, most managers end in tears, some sooner rather than later! As for his ability, you don't know that neither do I, with the two clubs he's managed, he did ok given a bit of time.......He was never my choice, but he's here now...I think fans should at least give him a chance before knocking him after his first defeat and there will be more, which would have happened which ever manager came in with the players we have........All a bit harsh I think mate!!
Used to watch Forest regularly in my teenage years and even their European Cup final against Malmo in Munich in 1980.. Will be strange going to the City ground and watching from the away end- but no doubt where my present allegiencies lie. COYR
We miss Baker and Ayling big time. Vyner I don't see him starting. Three goals were down to him Tuesday night. I don't blame the kid,I blame LJ for that howler, this could set the kid back big time.
1st goal was a suicide pass to Vyner 2nd goal was not just vyners fault but the whole defense 3rd one was unlucky it was a good ball on their part
A draw would be a good result but I fear a defeat tbh. I'd feel the same if JP was in charge. If Cotts was still in charge a 3-0 defeat would be a good result!
have to put in my pennorth here... if a team is strong in one area, or make the "weakest" point their strong point then it is down to the manager to sort it .. like most don't know a lot about Vyner but more of a defensive central back? .. problem is we do not really have an "aged defender" that can advise and el-abd is off again ..not saying he should play but he has a lot of defensive experience as has been shown with other clubs ... he needs to change his aftershave maybe
O'Donnell, Little, Flint, Baker, Golbourne, Pack, Reid, Tomlin, Bryan, Freeman, Kodjia. Fielding, Vyner, Pearce, Williams, Wagstaff, Agard, Wilbraham.
well looks back to "almost " strongest team .. Frankie sub ..to be expected, Vyner bench ditto 4-4-2 or even a loose 4-3-3? possible ...
shi* not paying attention ..how did I miss that still game underway ... ps nice to see British Broadcasting Cr** is up to date team news .... ha ha ha ha
