Ah there wasn't a good cinema in Leicester while I was there, it'll be a cold day in Hell before I set foot in an Odeon. I do enjoy films though. Not really a transfer, but I didn't see this posted, we've given eight scholarships to players who will become full time apprentices. The Academy welcomed its latest intake of youngsters with eight players signing two-year scholarships at a special event held at the KC Stadium on Wednesday night. The induction evening was an opportunity for the youngsters to celebrate their achievements with proud family and friends, while they also listened to inspirational speeches from Academy Manager, Tony Pennock, Head of Academy Coaching Jon Beale, Head of Sports Science and Medicine Frankie Hunter and Head of Education Matt Murphy. The group of 15-16-year-olds come from a variety of backgrounds, with some having spent a number of years at the Academy already, while others have only joined the club in recent months. With members of their respective families watching on proudly, the class of 2015 sat down with Pennock and Beale to commit themselves to the Academy for the next two years. The eight new scholars are: Brad Duxbury, Stephen Akbas, Lewis Ritson. Jonny Saltmer, Robbie McKenzie, Charlie Dunkerley, Tyler Hamilton and Josh Tymon. Speaking after the event, Pennock said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the lads on becoming Scholars. Being a scholar here and being part of this club is about being one family, being one team and it’s about belonging to a club that strives to progress. “Work starts now, and it’s going to be hard. The lads need to appreciate the opportunity they have been given, always remember who they’re representing and make sure at the end of the two years of their scholarship that they live the rest of their lives with no regrets. That means working hard every single day for the next two years to give themselves the best possible chance of achieving their goals. “But it should also mark the start of probably the most remembered, happiest times of their lives. They’ve got the chance to play football on a daily basis for a football club that wants to develop them, and wants to see youth progress.” http://www.hulltigersacademy.com/news/scholars-sign-on
It's an Odeon in Huddersfield. We usually end up going to Vue in Leeds. Went to see Mad Max and Poltergeist the other day. The former was awesome and my film of the year so far, the latter was crap. Supposed to be going to see Tomorrowland and San Andreas tomorrow. Actually looking forward to both.
Why aren't you out shagging birds or having a cheeky nandos or talking about your favourite Soccer AM moment from Saturday?
The vue at meridian park is alright, surely you were here when the highcross opened with the cinema de lux? That's was years ago. You didn't move back to Scotland that long ago did you? From memory of what you've posted on ere like.
