31 isn't aging in terms of keepers. Utd signed a 34 year old Van der sar and got years out of him, Lehmann was the same age as Doni when he signed for Arsenal, Bartez was 30 when Man Utd signed him while Bosnich was 29.

We've signed a brazillian goalkeeper (with caps) in his prime for nothing - thats good business in my opinion
