Not really a rumour as its a done deal. His contract comes into effect on July 1st. Apparently we had a verbal agreement last summer that we could sign him next summer, but it was put in doubt by the fact that we are unlikely to be playing in the Champions League next season, but we sweetened the pot (ie. offered him more money probably) and he has signed.
To be honest I know pretty much nothing about him apart from what I've read. Seems to be well regarded, so fingers crossed.
