Boris calling these lads thugs for me is a tad over the top. Sure you shouldn't be invading anyones space in public but calls for assault charges and **** like that are hilarious.

So the guy works for the government but does that make him literally untouchableo_O

Way over the top for me, **** the government and thier lackys.

We should be allowed to slap them at least once with impunity tbh

I must admit, Sucky. If I was there I'd have probably twatted them stupid bastards.

Whitty is no politician. He's simply doing a job, regardless of what people's views are on the advice he has been handing to the government. He was clearly intimated when he was just trying to go about his day. Nobody deserves that. Especially somebody who has had our health interests at heart.

    Two of life's bellends.

Britain is full of them, they've got no boundaries at all, ****ing idiots. Bantzing their way through life until they end up in a ****ing ditch, both real and metaphorical.

It appears police did intervene on the incident when it happened and the individuals were robustly warned at the time, and their details taken. Chris Witty didn't want to take the matter any further at the time, which could be deemed as common assult.

The other side of it is that it's not really assault imo.

It's stupid more than anything, and they need to realise people in the public domain aren't there to be manhandled by pissed up knobheads.

They should be cautioned or something.

Sorry but the law don't work around your opinion, so you are wrong, it's common assult.

'The offence covers both intentional and reckless acts. For example, the offender may not have intended to cause the victim to think an attack was imminent but if they behaved in way that was likely to make the victim think they were about to be attacked, and they didn’t care what effect that behaviour would have, the offender is guilty of the offence.

If violence is used in a common assault, it is called a “battery” and the perpetrator would be charged with “assault by beating”. This does not however, mean that the victim was actually ‘beaten up’ or even hit or kicked – it could be that they were pushed, grabbed or spat at.'

As I said they were robustly warned and there details were taken, so that is a 'caution or something.'

    Is it?

A caution is a caution and a warning is something different so that bit is wrong.

I was saying conceptually it's not actual assault but if the law deems it to be that then I accept it is.

Definition is thus ; . The definition of assault varies by jurisdiction, but is generally defined as intentionally putting another person in reasonable apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact. Physical injury is not required.

Sorry if you took my post personally sir.

Never took your post personally at all. I merely replied to it. Sorry you took it personally, thinking I was being personal. Like I said you was WRONG! I know you don't like someone challenging your opinion but I'm quite happy to do so. Even more so when it triggers you.

    Oh, ok.

Anyway, a caution is recorded and a warning isn't, so there's the difference.

    you said 'or something'

I even quoted it for you and put it in speech brackets, in an attempt to try and remind you of what you said.

I'll try again, you said a 'caution or something' - I reminded you they were given a robust warning, apologies for that not fitting into the 'or something'

I agree with both chief and Saff.

Yes they are bellends and have no right to be touching anyone in public, that goes for everyone govt worker or not.

You could clearly see the fella was ****ting himself and that i didn't like but and its a big but for me.... Theres no way thats assault.

You can shove any written law you want at me but as a bloke that just two dickheads being dickheads and certainly nothing too physical or intimidating, even though they did intimidate him i dont believe that was thier intention, nor was it to assault him and that why i posted it up.

Some snowflake ****fest we live in if thats assault these days.

Branding thenmn disgraceful thugs is way ott and its only because the guy is who he is and works for who he works for that such words are being chucked at the two plebs.

If you or i told a copper two lads done that to us theyd laugh us off if we had no injuries.

Silly but and even more silly reaction to it imho

    You absolute cock sucker <laugh>

Sucky reaches new low. What you just said had nowt to do with why you created this thread. Let me quote you...

'So the guy works for the government but does that make him literally untouchable'

You even said we should be allowed to give them a slap.

Sucky forum saviour, back tracking and turning into the forum creep in the process, bravo bro. <applause>

I stand by the slapping comment, if we had one day each year where you could go down to parliament and slap each one, all of us i mean might put them off being so consistently fuking **** at representing the people.

A slap imo is assault. What those lads did wasn't imo but seeing as theyve gone and humiliated a senior govt worker no doubt thyell be hung drawn and quartered by most of the sheep who blindly follow.

I see you already had this with chief tho all that letter of the law bullshit.

Aint those blokes fault yer man in the suit is a massive fuking jinny anne. Ive never seen a man so scared after having an arm put round him ffs.

Like a dog that walks around with its ears down and tail between its legs, its sad and you feel sorry for it at 1st. then you just wana kick it and say man the **** up bro<laugh>

    Yeh so anyway.

If you think that's assault genuinely then that means if i came and put my arm around you in the street and you didn't know it was me, you cry to the coppers that i assaulted you.

    Really?

This does back up my theory that 90% of internet mods are ****ing pussies <whistle> the other 10% being ex feds<whistle>
