He's signed a new contract. I'm pleased as he's a great defender and I never doubted his ability unlike some people who have now been proven wrong.

Can someone else post a link and/or video about this.

Got to admit i had him down as our worst CH behind McNair and Blackett, since January he has realy impressed me andwould now be my fist choice (massive swing from me there). Well done to the lad <ok>

He's ok, seems to make the odd blunder. Certainly worth hanging onto though.

He seems a bit of a confidence player good when on form but nervous if things go wrong.

    Indeed, very handsome.

    Can he defend though?

Well yes from what I've seen, he was thrown in at the deep end a bit due to injuries but I think he'll push for a place soon, gotta be better than Evans?

The only way Smalling could get any better is if he dyed his hair red and changed his name to Sir Wesley Brown.

Smalling has looked a lot more assured recently and is looking a pretty decent defender. He has been very average for a long time though. For your fans sake lets just hope this is him developing rather than a good run of form.

I liked the way both him and McNair were stepping forward with the ball against Chelsea...both looked comfortable and were adventurous....85 and 91 passes respectively..Fabregas was Chelsea's best performer with 38 passes in that respect.
