Nothing on the official website yet but I see a number of sites are reporting we have signed Chris David from FC Twente.

I think we came close to signing him in the summer but run out of time.

I don’t know much about from him apart from he is a Dutch under 19 international and plays in midfield.

Does anyone know much about him?

Jol has confirmed in today's press coference that we have signed Chris David.

Not an awful lot known about him beyond the what's in the links you posted TMHAL. Even some uncertaintity whether he's being signed as a striker or midfielder. I'd agee with Bandit (in the other thread) that he's one for the future and would guess as a midfielder.

I'd think one for the future, as he doesn't seem to have many games in the Twente first team. May be Bryan recommended him as one for the future.

Looks like Jol has some contact in the Dutch set up, rumors are it's his own agent who sets up some of the deals. Lets hope this doesn't turn into another Tigana.

But we've sent Gameiro to FC Eindhoven, and sent out Hoesen to Fortuna Sittard and then sold him to Ajax (kept a 30% ownership!!!). May be we're just getting some back.
Hodgson used to send them to Scandanavian teams, now Jols gone Dutch.
