Went to the game, ridiculous temperature, first of all fair play for both sets of players for even competing. Simply ridiculous to play in.
Common sense prevailed at least, two breaks each half for a water break.

The only two players I really knew anything about for us, were Lawrence / Marriott. Lawrence was horrific, gave the ball away for fun and did nothing whatsoever of note. WAAYYYYY too lightweight, absolutely nowhere near ready for the first team from what I can see.

Marriott looked reasonable. Good touches, often isolated, but certainly seemed to have something about himself. I think it was worth sending him to this game - I'd like to see him go out on loan to, I think a conference side until January. I think he could be useful for us, however from what I could see he isn't ready yet.

As for the rest, a fairly average bunch. TWTD doesn't have the numbers by the names annoyingly! Our number 8 central midfielder DID look tidy however, had blond hair with a Joey Essex ( sadly .......... ) style swoop over. A black attacking player ( again no idea on name ) came on second half, and played well too!

I ended up watching the second half with Reuben Reid's father, who another one of his four sons Isaac was playing second half for Chippenham. Like Mings, Isaan Reid came very close to packing in football, and he was telling me various interesting insights into the game I probably shouldn't repeat on here!

Overall, I enjoyed my day out. However, I was less than impressed with Mings not even traveling. I know he couldn't have played, however he should certainly have been at the game. Not sure what the club were thinking regarding that really!
