Despite the first goal, which you could blame several players for, lack of concentration too i guess! I thought Chester & Dawson had a great game when called upon! ...i think at times this season Davies has shown he can be clumsy and has made far too many errors, that championship players make! ...maybe the championship is where he should be, solid last season but this season he seems to of slipped into his old ways!

I'd stick with Chester and Dawson as I think they're the better partnership with potential to develop. That doesn't mean Davies is a Championship standard player though. He proved his class last year but centre backs work in pairs (obviously talking about 4 at the back here) and unfortunately him and Dawson seem to lack that level of understanding needed in the Prem.
Also we've long underestimated Chesters ability as he's generally not a last ditch guy as he's in the correct position to begin with.
I think we should use next summers PL money's lock Curties Davies up in a space rocket and send him to the moon.
Agreed ^^^^^ this. Davies deserves to be dropped as he has cost us this season. West Ham @ home and Newcastle away, CD defending was not good enough and 2 wins went south. CD is nowhere near the level of last season. So time on the bench wont do him any harm at all. Hopeflully.!!!!!
