We'll see, I think that the main issues with your defence is caused by your terrible centre midfielders. Any centre back in the PL is going to look like a donkey against PL attackers when left exposed as often as yours. Keita will help, but think you need a proper DM to sit and protect the back four.
Keita will add some energy, he's a good box to box midfielder. I agree though that we need someone to sit and protect.
Torres is no where near our biggest flop. He was a flop for sure, given his price and how prolific he had been for Liverpool and Atletico, but he got some important goals for us and won some trophies. Our biggest flop has to be Chris Sutton imo. In 1999, £10m was a ****ing fortune, only Alan Shearer had cost more at that point I think. 2 ****ing goals all season! Utter ****e. At least we got £6m back when we flogged him to Celtic.
Always thought Mutu was the biggest flop for Chelsea, £16m or whatever it was when that was a lot of money and he then went and did a Tony Montana impersonation. I am too young to remember Sutton at Chelsea properly though. Crespo the one I've never understood, people always have him in their list of flops but he was actually good for Chelsea, just couldn't settle in England.
Would probably say de Bruyne is the main one, along with Salah and Lukaku - but who knows if any of them would have developed as well if they had stayed at Chelsea. Hopefully Chalobah will be another they regret. Wanted us to sign Ake too but £20m was crazy money for him really. Hoping Chelsea fancy getting rid of RLC next summer too - I'm sure he'd want to link back up with Chalobah
That was Emenalo selling him from under Conte's nose. Just one of the many reasons Conte has been fed up this season. At least now Emenalo is gone, hopefully things will quieten down, but even still, I would be very surprised if Conte is our manager beyond this season. I think regardless of what happens or where we finish, or if we win any pots, Conte will be leaving at the end of this season.

Solanke leaves Chelsea and instantly wins player of the tournament at the U-20 world cup, and scored the most goals. I'd say the Matic deal is the worst business they've done. Sell him for peanuts and directly strengthen a rival, then buy Bakayoko who looked good in France, but so far has looked total ****e in the PL (other than 1 or 2 games). Salah and KDB - Current form they're probably the best 2 players in the PL (and possibly Europe)
