Leitner never played for the U23s. Not sure about Drmic. Plenty of our other players have played for the U23s to get fit again.

According to transfer market Chelsea's squad cost over £800m Norwich £167m

Not counting wages that's a considerable gulf in class.

They can afford to buy someone for 80m pay them £200k a week and if they don't perform go out and replace them .

If we spend near £10m we are looking at doubling our money , if they turn out to be useless like Naismith or Wolfswinkel it costs us for years to come.

We were terrible today but Chelsea will destroy teams much better than us this season , probably win the league and have a good go at holding onto the Champions league too .

    We won't

    Like who ?
That have come back to the first team .

Possibly Zimmermann but he's not in the first team squad

Leitner definitely trained with the U23s not sure if he featured but I think he did

Brentford are doing OK playing a similar type of football that we tried to play last time. Is it just me or is it a case of the more defensive we try to play the worse we get. At least if we went for it a bit more the games would be more exciting from a Norwich point of view. Yes we might still lose but a least w'ed have something to cheer

Totally agree. At the moment we're neither fish nor fowl, I suspect because Farke doesn't really believe in what he has been trying to do over the last few games.

I think he desperately wanted a clean sheet to build on , the trouble is we have only scored one goal in open play this season .

As soon as we conceded it was game over and they gave up.

You would think one or two would want to bust a gut to prove themselves against the best team in Europe .

I've seen FA Cup games with league 2 sides against Chelsea where they offer more going forward than us today.

I can handle losing but there was no heart or desire in that performance

But why was there no heart or desire? Was it because Farke is unconsciously sending messages that he doesn't believe in what he is doing?

Strange one , I would have liked to see some of our leaders like Handley yelling and screaming at his team mates Gibson looked almost relieved to get off the field.

The rot looks to have set in and I'm not sure how we can begin to turn things around.

We have a long break until Leeds and I'm hoping to see an improvement to attitude and maybe wholesale changes to give others a chance to impress.

Sorensen Dowell Tzolis Omobamidele perhaps to freshen things up.

Chelsea were top of their game today. I can't see any league 2 team giving them a run for their money today.

Actually Leitner did, Drmic also. From memory it was early last season when they both needed some playing time to help their search for new clubs.

Haven’t we seen this all before? The team plays very badly for most of the games into the season and the bad stats are brought out from the archives to be displayed for all to see. We then argue about whether manager should go or not for a lot of the season as things get worse ( can they?). Eventually the manager goes with a large pay out. Should DF have been given a 4 year contract when he has taken NCFC into EPL before and brought them straight back down again? It’s not the poor result that upsets most fans, but the abject performance. Do we wait again for a change of outcome against teams in the bottom six before the Board decide what to do?

Anybody noticed the league positions of the three teams we've been thrashed by - 1,2 and 3..? The opportunity will be Leeds they look to be in a spot of bother. Currently losing at home to Wolves.
IMHO Farke shouldn't be blamed for this run of results. After all it is only due to Farke we are in this division.

Didn't say anything about giving them a run for their money , I said I have seen league 2 sides offer more going forward than us today.

1 measly shot on target which I must have missed

That's what happens when you set up not to lose. I lean more to attack is the best form of defence approach

We as fans live for goals, we were spoiled last season starved this season .

I'm with you just go full Kevin Keegan and hope to score more than the opposition.

This turgid scared approach is stinking up the league and we are an International embarrassment.

Tzolis & Dowell in, give Idah a start.

For me, there is rarely a moment I hear Farke speak and think it’s anything other than complete sense. He’s easily the most cogent and thoughtful manager we’ve had. Could barely understand Lambert even when he bothered to talk. Hughton spoke well, but often it was smooth talking rather than substance.

But actions speak louder than words and Farke’s on borrowed time with a large part of the fan base, so he’s got to stop talking the talk now. We’ve got five winnable games from now. I think we need eight points from them, minimum. Ideally ten or eleven.
