As we all know Didier Drogba has left, Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa have both been released by Chelsea. Who will be the other players to make their way out? I think the others will be Paulo Ferreira and Florent Malouda. Di Matteo is still waiting on his future. Chelsea have offered RDM a 12-month contract but RDM has declined the offer because it's only for 1 year. Could RDM be waiting because he is in talks with Barcelona? If RDM doesn't want the job then I'd happily welcome Pep Guardiola with open arms to become the Chelsea manager. Former Barcelona manager Guardiola will have a meeting with Roman Abramovich to decide whether or not to become Chelsea's manager, The Sun reports. So far Chelsea have won the race to sign Belgian star Eden Hazard and are very close in completing a deal to sign Hulk in the region of £32m from FC Porto. Also Chelsea have already secured the services of Kevin De Bruyne from Belgian club Genk and Marko Marin from German club Werder Bremen. Hopefully Chelsea go and buy Gregory Van Der Wiel as well

If I'm being honest I don't think RDM will be our manager because if he were to be then he'll have signed a contract by now. All the signs are pointing to Guardiola to take charge. Absolutely thrilled we have Eden Hazard and about to sign Hulk. Hazard, Hulk and Mata is great attacking midfield. Happy that the club are conducting their business this early in the window.

    Manager: Pep Guardiola

    ---------------Cech---------------
    Ivanovic---David Luiz---Terry--Cole
    ---------Ramires---Lampard-------
    -----Hulk-----Hazard-----Mata----
    --------------Torres--------------

Sounds good to me. I just wish RDM would stay as assistant coach.

Tottaly against the signature of VDW. Complete Bosingwa.

Anyway, it's very good to see the board getting everything wrapped up quickly. There's new rumours about Schurle going around now. Could be interesting.
Guardiola. Hmm, not convinced that he wouldn't be another AVB.

I think the Hazard deal is FAR from completed and the ridiculous amount of £60 mil for Hulk is beyond crazy for a player who's not even a regular in his national team. It's all innuendo as far as I'm concerned. If Chelsea pay 60 mil for Hulk they're friggin' mental plus Guardiola has said nothing about becoming Chelsea manager. What he has said is clubs need to seduce him (clubs, not Chelsea) but in the next FEW months he will be re-charging his batteries. It's ALL paper talk and we'll know absolutely NOTHING until it is reported on the Chelsea website, not skysports news or the Sun!

To be honest we all should stop taking what the papers say as gospel. All the fees regarding Hazard and Hulk have been differen in every paper I read, I know Roman has an itchy trigger finger but no way will he pay £60m for Hulk.

To me, all the fees and supposed wage demands are bollocks until the club itself announces it.

Hulk is a good player, scored some fantastic goals this season. Scored 2 for Brazil the other night too. I reckon £30m and it will happen and nothing more...

Does anyone think RA is still as keen on Guardiolas' tippy tap football, now we have showed everyone how to play AND beat it ??? Just watch, from now on Barca will face Chelsea type tactics every game they play, and young quick defenders like ours will see their value skyrocket to striker prices.

Personally I wouldn't have Guardiola as a gift. He was out thought and outplayed by RDM at our place and at his. No plan " B ", and a very predictable plan " A " . No PL experience, no experience of pressure, except against us and Real in the last 4 years. And he's " tired " ???????

Jesus wept, how will he be if he manages a PL team ?????/

Gotta agree with you CP I think he’d melt in the prem.If I’m honest though I don’t even think Guardiola would want to come to Chelsea given the poison chalice of a job it is. Italy bound me thinks

Juan--your team selection looks world class to me, but what about our world class England centre back Gary Cahill? Not a bench warmer surely!

This was a really hard decision. Gary Cahill is a quality centre back. But I think Terry will start a head of him and Cahill will share matches with David Luiz. Personally I would like to see David Luiz and Cahill remain as our first choice centre back pair.

Completely agree Juan, Cahill and Luiz were absolutely immense when it really mattered. Terry is the one to take a step back now. Great position for us though.
