I'm confused. It was stated in the past, before the new women's super league, that Chelsea Ladies were to be part of the club as a whole. Not just affiliated, but a definite part of CFC. Yet before that league started International players left the Ladies as they weren't offered full time contracts. Casey Stoney went to Lincoln for precisely this reason. I'm confused because it seems Chelsea Ladies appear to be semi-autonomous and are being left to struggle on their own by the parent club. What sort of amateur club are we that we can't give the England Captain a professional contract? Even if you have no support for Chelsea Ladies surely this looks bad for the club as a whole. I've watched and waited for some official reaction about the loss of major players, and so far nothing. OK no one says Chelsea fans have to support Women's football and Chelsea Ladies, but I used to be certain CFC was supposed to.

OH I did forget I have seen JT take some interest in his role as Club Captain, but that isn't going to get quality players signed or retain the ones we have. How long before Claire Raffety will be off?
