    A sensible question deserves a sensible answer I suppose. I don't think you've watched him as much as you make out for a start and as previously mentioned, he's a DM. Not a glamorous player by any means but his workrate is tremendous and again, his distribution and breakup play is fantastic. Very rarely loses possession too, great tackler and constantly moves about, with and without the ball. He has a notably low centre of gravity too so he seems impossible to muscle off the ball. I think he's underrated by anyone other than NUFC fans but to be honest I hope it stays that way.

    You do realise people working for premier league clubs are professionals. They don't just say; 'oh, this player has been talked up a lot in the media, why don't we sign him based solely on that'.

    I'm a little inclined to disagree there mate, Chelsea and Man Citeh are prime examples of paying over the odds for overrated players. If the media hyped him up last season anywhere near as much as the likes of Henderson and Carroll etc then there'd be a bidding war on for him now.
