I was the first of us to have a blog. I like to call it my blob. I haven't updated it for awhile, but it's on this site. I know at least one off here has enjoyed it.
I intend to look at micro and macroeconomic trends particularly in China dovetailing with a look at the Church of England from the 16th century until the present day. But please: in your answers no politics or religion. Also, as I'm unsure whether a colon was appropriate in my first paragraph I thought this could be the "go to" blog for grammar and punctuation. I in no way intend to compete with the many excellent blogs on here, but rather I hope to complement them.
A joke's a joke fellas, but with almost the entire front page full of daft blog threads, I've merged them. The hint has been taken and if Big Vern posts any more ****e on his, it's toast. Obviously everyone is welcome to continue posting what they had for lunch and all other such essential information on this thread. Just make sure you keep it on topic and don't go posting anything inappropriate, like stuff about football...
I was actually hoping these blogs would throw up a few more top tips on various topics. Maybe i can start with an old one... Avoid Losing contact lenses, by simply drilling a small hole in each one and inserting a short length of fishing line. Any more gems to live life to the full by?
Handy Hints For Anglers: Attach a helium balloon to your line and bait the hook with an acorn. Then sit under a tree and "fish" for squirrels. An upturned laundry basket would make an ideal keep-net, but don't forget to throw the squirrels back into the tree at the end of the day.
Just had a steak pie & a couple of cakes from Wienholts in Alderley Edge. Very nice & healthily nutritious.
I'm out and about today and have made the decision to venture into the Aldi on Preston Road. I need some bananas, eggs and bottles of water although I suspect I may be tempted by other products. I will update this blog accordingly on both my purchases and any other anecdotal shopping related japes.
Dinners at twelve. I'm having a large jacket spud with Boston baked beans. Very much looking forward to it.
Best of luck with that. Hope it turns out well. Should we call the emergency services if you don't blog again by 2?
I went to Tesco last night. Went in for 4 things, ended up filling the trolly and spending £113. Can't wait to get home and enjoy my fridge full of delights.
I'm working from home today. Therefore my lunch of choice will be cheese and ham toasty, some manly McCoys Steak crisps and a Crunchie. The wife thinks I'm having Ryvitas. The dog likes Ryvitas, so I'm covered.
Im off sick at the minute so ive started knitting. Ive knitted 3 Cardigans,2 Jumpers and 3 Hull City scarves so far. Ive managed to sell them and make £30. This helps subsidise my pathetic SSP.
