Me also, and the stewards trying to stop the flag being paraded, was the best thing to happen as it focus everyones attention on the protest
Really? Sad to say he most probably does think he's winning. However its not a game or a war and there will be no winners. He's taking our name without the decency of asking us and today showed what people thought. Not many people boo'd the flag carriers but thousands boo'd the stewards and there was a huge round of applause around the ground when the stewards backed off. On the pitch we still need a striker and he's running out of money. That is the reality. We should be working together to find the money to make City an established Premier League team, instead we have this. What a waste.
I've been rubbing my crystal ball lads.. I can tell you that it all ends in tears with Papa opening the first ever Premier League franchise club in China with the Beijing Tigers in 2016. Not sure about you but I won't be going to many home games..
I bet that's as accurate as all the other inside information you get. Were they made to sign an NDA too? This is just laughable. For weeks people have been criticising the group for not taking more noticeable action. People asking what are you going to do etc. Now when the whole ground joins together to demonstrate that we're united against the name change and protest you complain that it's too forceful. Bollocks it's attacting everyone. If there were any trouble makers there they aren't very good ones. You say that whatever happens. Literally everything that's happened recently you've claimed it's all part of his master plan and he's 'playing' us. When he embarasses himself with error-strewn public statements you say it's all an act to trick everyone. When he arranges a meeting you say he's going to silence the attendees with an NDA anyway. When he throws a strop and orders his gestapo to remove a banner he doesn't like you say it's all playing into his hands. Your posts are embarrassing. Why not just admit you were wrong?
Like I said the thread was about the city of culture songs! If you read from the beginning? It ha a nothing to do with a protest! People are getting too wound up!
Where does it say a banner against season pass and ticket regulations? Away fans in home areas is against ground regulations. When the inadequates from Hull who support Liverpool and are sat in the home areas are pointed out do you think our gutless stewards will enforce ground regulations?
What would all of you moaning be saying if the whole banner thing kicked off but we won the game? It wouldn't be ruining the season then.
I sit in West Upper(why I don't know), but even in my block there was a lot of people including myself singing, probably the most I've ever seen up there. I can't understand how Allam can't see he is fighting a losing battle. NO TO HULL TIGERS.
And as Castro posted above, next week the home end will be full of Hull Reds. But the stewards won't be half as quick to remove them, will they?! Ridiculous.
Allam lost the PR battle yesterday. Now even City fans who weren't bothered are energised against the name change. How is that playing into his hands? Unless you mean by that Allam will now be more bloody minded than ever. There's nothing that can be done about that short of putting up the white flag at City's games rather than an anti name change banner.
