Right, I've kept fairly quiet over the recent news on GH mostly out of shock. However, I'm here to change the subject. I trust all us Canaries will be supporting Bayern Munich tonight so we can continue to irritate the binners with the fact that we are still the only British team to beat Bayern in Munich! JK
Ah, but the record books will show that the final was in a neutral venue. In any case, we will definitely be the only British team to beat Bayern in the Olympic Stadium
I still have an almost brand new Bayern Munich scarf from the second leg over here, I bumped into some German fans in the Prince of Wales pub, wearing a grubby old NCFC scarf - one of several I own, and this fan 'insisted' on exchanging Needless to say it doesn't get worn much, but tonight I might just make an exception - to piss off all the plastic Chelski fans who crawl out of the North Norfolk woodwork - but only on occasions such as tonight.
Don't forget I'm talking November 1993. Most of Jeremy Kyle's guests weren't old enough to have any children by then - never mind 17 of them
I've been in worse places but I'm not a fan of that pub it feels like it belongs in some ****ty estate or some dodgy inner city area. As for the thread I'm split 50/50 on this game want to keep this record but would like to see a British team win even though I'm not a big Chelsea fan at the same time it's not a Spanish team winning it so I don't really mind if Munich nick it plus we keep the record.
I'm talking in February when we played Bolton I reckon there would of been fight about an hour after we left there was a really bad atmosphere in there. We finished our drinks quickly and headed towards centre of the POW Road at least the bars served Grey Goose, were clean and had normal people in.
If Chelsea win I will be happy for one person, Roberto di Matteo. I like it when good things happen to good people.
