We all said that Bruce should not have changed the side on monday night (and some of us expected him to do so) so where exactly does the blame lie for the totally inept performance against Norwich?

Thos same 11 players that started against Norwich played against Stoke and hardly a pass went astray. Midfield was bustling and looking to create and defence was extremely solid against a far more threatening side.

If we blame the manager then how come he did what we all wanted him to - granted it didn't work but we all said keep an unchanged side.

So what do we do this weekend? Personally I would say 4-4-2 - I know, it's a formation we're not really familiar with as a team but this radical thinking might just work!!<whistle>

I also thought Richardson and Bramble were a complete liability on Monday - get them out of the side - Turner is on the bench so get him back on the field. As for left back - well Bardsley has left us up the creek without a paddle on that one - although an attacking back line using O'Shea at LB and Elmo at RB might work against fellow strugglers.

    **** knows!!

Players like Bramble saying "Watch us climb the table" before the game made a tit of himself by doing that and then playing so badly.

The players on Monday night - Mignolet, Brown, Bendtner could come out of it with credit - Ji looked OK when he came on as well. O'shea was poor I thought but maybe he was doing his and Bramble's job? Not sure.. I felt quite sorry for Larsson on Monday night as, whuilst he didn't look the best, he was playing at left back and on the left wing due to Richardson being so poor so he had to cover much more ground than he should normally have to.

One thing we have in Bruce is a bloody annoyingly stubborn manager - as he has said "4-4-1-1 seems to be the way" it is frightening that he might just stick with that - and if he does then Sessegnon is going to want out as it's simply not working for him.

4-4-2 with 2 proper centre forwards on the pitch on Saturday please Steve. Sessegnon on the left wing and Larsson on the right. Vaughan and Cattermole or Gardner in the middle. And FFS drop players who aren't playing well!!
