I could live with your team Natch, but would have Carey in the back 4 instead of Nyatanga and Stead for Pitman
Maybe even think of a diamond?

I have a feeling that this would be like "The charge of the light brigade",we go in all guns blazing hoping to outscore the opposition.5-4,6-5,ala Newcastle under Keegan.

Out of interest, did any of you go to the Swindon cup match? Kilkenny looked very exposed in a middle two, and that was alongside Skuse who is much better at covering than Marv. I can just see it now, Marv runs forward into the box, misses the ball then they rip us apart straight through the middle of the pitch. I really liked the formation we played when KM first took the job, with our current squad would be something like:-

    James
    Wilson Carey Nyatanga
    Spence McGivern
    Skuse
    Adomah Maynard JCR
    Stead

Spence and McGivern as wing backs to provide width, Skuse as the holding player, Stead as target man with Albert, Nicky and JCR all interchangable behind him. Hopefully they'd move enough that we'd be able to play some decent football. Or they wouldn't understand it and utterly fail to impact the game... who knows!

    Sorry guys, you're all wrong.

NK needs more than Marv in midfield, won't work without another CM and 1 less winger.

Carey needs to start for organisational abilities alone.

Unfortunately can't see us winning whatever side Millen puts out.

    HE'S the problem.

are we in for a surprise......assuming the thoughts are Hull will turn up as they have been, team formation etc...WE PLAY 3-4-1-2

DROP WILSON, play ADDY, KILKO, MARV and BOLA, up front Nicky and Steady with Pitters roaming behind swapping them around from time to time

playing 3 at the back should give them more time to keep out of each others way!!!!

3-5-2 would be ideal if we had another midfielder like LJ and KILKO......

think the bench will be the most important, although leaky I think the back 4 will get better, after all they have made a couple of errors that have cost us 2 or 4 points.

Natch using your team as is but Pitters and Steady my bench would be

    Bola, Nicky, Carey and Taylor

Well got the bench right, how much difference would it have been if Pitters and Steady had started???? We will never know...
