Leicester City could be set for a few reunions when the draw for the first round of the Carling Cup is made today. City have been seeded for the first round and could be paired with former owner Milan Mandaric's Sheffield Wednesday. Also in the northern section of the draw are Oldham Athletic, managed by former City players Paul Dickov and Gerry Taggart, and City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson could be set for a return to former club Notts County. Former City boss Micky Adams is in charge of Port Vale, who are possible opponents. The other sides in the draw are Accrington Stanley, Bradford City, Burton Albion, Bury, Chesterfield, Crewe Alexandra, Hartlepool United, Macclesfield Town, Morecambe, Rotherham United, Shrewsbury Town, Tranmere Rovers or Walsall. The fixture is set to be played either on August 9 or 10.
