It's all a bit quiet really don't you think? Other than speculative blog fillers about lower league players and visions on Siggy and Lloriente future cut'n'pasted from yesterdays, last weeks, last months, "news", there's been little if anything, written and nothing varifyable at all. Gomis has been linked to Turkey, lets face it no one else will have him, so that adds the Süper Lig into the mix for bloggers to bullshit and speculate on. Now we have swap deals with Adebeyor, ha ha ha, and Llorente linked there too; why would he want to go there now?. Most of what I've read seems like a contrived student assignment for wannabe sports journo's on a creative writing course writing in a 'he said, she said' style to fill pages.
Gomis has been outstanding and proves if you play him the right way he will get you goals, We have been useless the past 3 seasons with scoring and defending and so far not much has changed that suggests we will be anything more than relegation candidates again especially if as expected we will lose our two best players soon....We as usual are all talk and no action on quality players and once someone bids a few quid more than us we pull out.....Why is Jenkins still in the job ffs, he should have been replaced the day the season ended because he will never pay the going rate for quality.
I think we could be missing a trick by just writing Gomis off. He has proved that he actually does know where the net is, and to virtually give him away seems a tad extravagant. Of course, he may not ever want to play for The Swans' again, and I understand that, especially if he ever read this forum.
He might then realise that fans were pissed off that he earned 70-80k a week to just stand offside and laugh all season
Keeping Gylfi and Llorente is more important. Anyway Dai, has the transfer window opened yet? I thought it was July 1st
If it is Valley, seems no one has told Huddersfield http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40289316 Huw would get 2 or 3 for that...
Fair point Valley - although another side of the argument could be that he had crap service most of the time.
I'm sure he was/is laughing all the way to the Bank, highlighting the complete lunacy of the so called Premier League.
