He’s still got a Sky gig though. The best weekend last season was when the MOD commentators & pundits went on strike in support of that crisp eating jug eared egoist. MOD in silence with just crowd noise. It had higher viewing figures than before. I wonder why More’s the pity they didn’t keep it that way
An interesting read. A few old boys on the move as has been mentioned in the old boy thread, though hadnt picked up on Rhys Healy to Watford. Colin having a big clear out at udders. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...y-championship-transfer-deal-cardiff-27282117
Fans are not interested in people getting paid to talk they want longer highlights, the EFL highlights is worse.
spot on, the amount of time wasted on self gratification on spouting well rehearsed phraseology is around 60% all teams seem to have quality "in house" camera set up's with own commentators. PARTS OF THE PROGRAMME well spaced with adverts! show 10 seconds of an exciting game ending 3 -2 and about 30 secs of banter about chances missed in a 0-0! I get to the stage of watching just 4 or 5 games BCFC /CCFC / ?? /?? the latter on a whim! this season will be BCFC /CCFC/ PAFC /??
So WOL have come up with this possible starting lineup. What are your thoughts? Possible Cardiff XI: Allsop; Ng, McGuinness, Goutas, Collins; Ralls, Wintle; Robinson, Ramsey, O'Dowda; Grant.
Not sure I'd play Wintle and Ralls. Rambo said he saw himself in a more attacking role. If he'd play as an 8 instead of a 10 I'd stick him in with Wintle with Robinson as a 10. You'd then need a wide attacker to add to the mix.
Ralls surely can’t be in our starting X1 This is discounting the supposed 2-3 new players one of whom is believed to be a central midfielder.
I was thinking of Wintle as the first choice over Ralls. Definitely wouldnt play both. A new signing in central mid would be good. Someone to keep the tempo up. The way things are going, dont see much game time for our youngsters again this season.
New boss, lots of new faces, the pressure of relegation fears cast aside and maybe a bit of rejuvenation for some of the more jaded. It'll all depend on getting the right team including the bench together and seeing how it gels. I'm keeping my powder dry at the moment and not using last season as an indicator to anything but just a marker to gauge overall improvement (hopefully). Looking forward to our promotion challenge, and spending Tan`s money in January buying these loan players.
Why would you want to buy our loan players in January? All that does is see a lot of money go out the door with nobody coming in. No strengthening done. Better to buy a new player to add to what we have. If we think a loanee is worth keeping, sign him in the summer when we'd otherwise lose him. Turning a loan into a buy in January is a very negative thing.
