They should rename their stadium "Noahs Park"

The did a Direby and called it off 3 hours before kick off. The pitch was playable but the River Don had burst its banks and caused access problems. Surfers in the car park?

Personally I reckon one of their 3 brushes was missing so they couldn't risk not being able to drag enough water back onto the pitch if they were losing, so they sabotaged the river bank to get the game called off earlier!

Wonder if our game could be in danger today too??

I'm about 50 miles south ish of Blackburn. Its just stopped raining for the first time since Thursday evening. we have quite a bit of flooding on roads and standing water in loads of fields.
There's been a lot of precipitation.

    Forecast is ‘light and breezy.’

Can’t say that for the referee though

    Still 6th after tonight's games.
What's happened to Robbie's boys? Mind you, the water babies had a longer rest than most.
Table already looking typical with two run away clubs at the top and everyone else scrapping for the top 6 (except Wendies).

I wish the bloody river had flooded again, we were dire by the sounds of it. Total lack of a decent striker and a midfield led by a 19yr old loanee. Robins needs to sort his sh1t out rapidly

I'm sure it'll get better Robbie. Although you lost your goal machine, your lot were never a one player outfit and you've plenty to keep you safe.

The supporters of Birmingham and Sheffield Wednesday must be frustrated with the owners of their respective clubs.

When I look at that top 3 of Leicester, Ipswich and Leeds, we've played all 3 away from home and could have/should have won all of them. Instead we got a single point out of the 9. That was very unlucky but it's done now and we've still got all 3 of them at home to come.

Moving on, that performance at Huddersfield was to dream about. I hope the defeat at Blackburn was a watershed in team selection and tactics for Bulut and his staff. Once again we could have/should have won that as well and even with that unfortunate start to the season, we'd be in 3rd spot right now.

Despite Leicester and Ipswich making an early break, this division is as wide open as ever. Some solid home performances from City up until and over Christmas and it's definitely game on for that top 6 (at least).

I'm a bit surprised to see Ipswich running away at the top. Not so long ago they were close to relegation and I've not noticed anything spectacular to justify their current situation.....not that my missing something is particularly unusual!!!

If you tie in the fact that if we ARE in or close to the play-off spots come end of December we'll be going into the January window with the ability to wheel and deal with far more freedom, then it really could turn into a very exciting 2nd half of the season.

Long way to go yet though. We could yet have another poor run or pick up more injuries etc... And things are so tight in the division (top 2 aside) you never know what will happen.

This is exactly why I reckon the Championship is probably the best, most entertaining and exciting league in the world.
Yes the likes of the Premier League may have more skillful players on an individual basis but it's nearly always the same old (richest) clubs that take the glory... The Championship is a wonderfully chaotic maelstrom of madness by comparison....

Maelstrom - a good, woody word.

I like new words on here. 10/10 BB. <ok>
