A strange thing to have Chelsea as a "soft spot team." Didn't the Terry and Clattenburg incidents, the fans' treatment of Benitez and the whole buying the league thing, mean everyone hates Chelsea?
Yeh I'm not falling for it. Subversive plan to try and undermine the siege mentality that constantly surrounds the club which gives us the character, drive, and determination to win. Nice try buddy, but you'll have to come up with a better plan to derail our train.
Being hated is a by product of being successful, Man Utd are hated for the same reason so we are more than happy to take on that mantle. But you know this as you were hated for winning back-to-back league titles in the 1911/1913 and three consecutive FA Cups in 1884/1886.
being hated is whats made this Chelsea team successful the more crap the media says about us the more fired uo the players get.
if everyone else hates you then you must be being successful most of the great teams have got a little unpleasantness about them
the media in this country love to jump on the band waggon when your the new guys on the block they cheer you over the line then when your at the top they switch on you and you get blamed for all the wrongs in the world this tactic has worked on City this season however its never worked on us the more crap they write about us just gives our players that steely determination to continue to win and frustrate all our Haters.
You could say that, however, I enjoy watching the new Chelsea play. The new shape and style of play since bringing in Mata, Hazard, Oscar for example has changed the outlook of play for you guys. 3rd place for a team that's tried a new shape and style really isn't bad at all. I know I'm an outsider looking in, but that being said, a return of Mourinho and the apparent "£100million" to spend in summer, I could have a little £20 flutter on you guys winning the title next year!
