A quick look on the Chelsea board reveals that Chelsea just need to buy another 3-6 world class players and then they'll be able to compete properly <ok>

It's not like Mourinho should be expected to coach or manage any of the 50+ senior players currently on Chelsea's books

Apprently they want 2 world class strikers, 2 world class CDMs and 2 world class defenders <ok>

It's not fair to expect Mourinho to play decent footbal or win anything without them

Some of the media are pushing the false dichotomy of Mourinho getting his tactics right against Liverpool and wrong against Atletico

If reality he got lucky against Liverpool and didn't get lucky against Atletico

That's why he's a **** manager, his tactics are to leave the game to luck in the first place

To spend hundreds of millions of pounds just to turn football into a coinflip is scandalous

What was the comment he came out with about loan players being tactical? Something to do with Lukaku. Since then he's been hit by Borini twice and now his own loan player hurts him.

Didn't Assaidi also score against him?

6 Players, because Chelsea don't have a massive squad already with another 5 or 6 players who make it into other top clubs 1st XI regularly. The only Prem club with a bigger squad is Man City.

The only thing they're really missing is a striker who scores goals. He had a chance to buy one in the summer and brought in a 33 year old who'll only last one season. So he got that wrong.
Maureen got it wrong by being too negative in both legs

It's amazing how pundits are so quick to write off Pep's styles of play because he lost against Real, but when negative teams lose a game, no one bats an eyelid.

Mourinho was a tactical genius a day ago but adopting such tactics.

    Amazing how it all works.

Oh, and HAHAHAHAHA - shame to Chelsea :)

  13. Not sure thats true, Chelsea have 27 players out on loan and still have on of the biggest squads in the league
When they all return surely they'll have the biggest squad in the world?

EXACTLY! Not only that, but he never stays anywhere more than a few years- because he doesn't develop the squad- he has no eye for developing talent- only purchasing who is good "now". He tends to leave squads bereft of young future talent- he spends a lot of money- and leaves squads NEEDING to spend a lot of money to continue- a very selfish "live now, screw the future" mentality. No eye for young talent.

He's certainly not someone you want at a building club- or one that you want to have a good future.

I can see him at PSG or one of the Russian oil-money clubs next- buying everyone at their peak and selling off all their youth. Then leaving them bereft of future talent for the next manager.

Porto are paupers in relative terms to the top European clubs, and yet he won them consecutive European pots, including the CL.

It's pretty close. I reckon its including the European Super cup (Glorified friendly) from this year, so to be fair we have to give him his 2 Spanish super cup finals (Glorified friendlies).

So its 3 from 16. Very poor by the standards he set between 03-10!

TBF Juve and Napoli outspent Inter during the 2 years he was there! He won the treble with a negative net spend the summer before.

I don't like his football or his style nowadays but trying to rubbish his record between 03-10 is liking saying the Sky isn't blue because you don't like the colour.
