    My entrance area is actually by Tony Adams' statue, I'm in block E. :-D.

    But I might be outside the ground by the box office till 10 minutes before kick off, just to see if anything kicks off like last season.

    We should be beating OM irregardless both home and away. Napoli is a trickier affair but a win at home and draw in Naples will suit me just fine. Dortmund will be our biggest test . As of now the best we can hope for is a draw, but with reinforcements we can beat them

    Klopp is "thrilled to meet Arsenal" in his group. Of course he is. He must be relieved and elated.

    Not sure if you're underestimating Marseille or have an overinflated view of Arsenal, but they're not whipping boys we should be going to expecting to win

    We should be expecting to beat OM. Never said it'd be easy but we should be beating them home and away

    Okay, so if we lose to Napoli and Dortmund beat Marseille, then all teams finish on 12 points. These then are the permutations of that scenario, should it arise:

    What would happen if Arsenal, Napoli and Borussia Dortmund all finish Champions League Group F tied on 12 points? That will happen if Napoli beat Arsenal and Dortmund beat Marseille on matchday six on December 11. Put simply, Arsenal must avoid a three-goal defeat in Naples to go into the last 16. For more details, read on.

    According to Uefa's rules, if three teams end the group on the same number of points, the following 'tiebreakers' will be used (in order) to decide who progresses to the knockout stages:

    (a) highest number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question (Arsenal, Napoli and Dortmund)

    (b) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question (ie. Arsenal, Napoli and Dortmund)

    (c) higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question (ie. Arsenal, Napoli and Dortmund)

    (d) higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question (ie. Arsenal, Napoli and Dortmund)

    If, after applying criteria (a) to (d) to all three teams, two teams still have an equal ranking, criteria (a) to (b) are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the two teams in question to determine their final rankings.
    If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria (e) to (g) apply;

    (e) superior goal difference from all group matches played;

    (f) higher number of goals scored from all group matches played;

    (g) higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question, as well as its association, over the previous five seasons.

    (h
    ) a game of rock, paper, scissors

    Okay, so I added the last one, but you get the picture .....

    Crumbs, I've just gone cross-eyed! I vote we beat Napoli to avoid having to read that again!

    So, in a nutshell, as long as we avoid losing by 3 goals (if Dortmund win) we are through.

    Arsenal 2 - 0 Napoli
    Dortmund 3 - 1 Napoli
    Arsenal 1 - 2 Dortmund
    Dortmund 0 - 1 Arsenal
    Napoli 2 - 1 Dortmund

    In matches between the 3
    Dortmund GD:+1 GS:6 AG:3
    Napoli GD:-3 GS:3 AG:2
    Arsenal GD:+2 GS:4 AG:1

    If Dortmund lose or draw (score is irrelevant in all cases):
    If Arsenal win or Draw or lose by less than 3 goals, Arsenal are 1st, Napoli are 2nd on head to head or GD.
    If Arsenal lose by 3 goals (or more) to Napoli, Arsenal are 2nd on head to head or GD, Napoli are 1st.

    If Dortmund win (score is irrelevant in all cases):
    If Arsenal draw or win against Napoli they go through on points in 1st, Dortmund are 2nd.
    If Arsenal lose by 1 goal to Napoli, but score 3+ goals, Arsenal finish 1st on GS, Dortmund are 2nd.
    If Arsenal lose by 1 or 2 goals to Napoli, Arsenal finish 2nd on GD, Dortmund are 1st on GD.
    If Arsenal lose by 3 goals to Napoli, Napoli are 2nd on GD, Dortmund are 1st.
    If Arsenal lose by 4 goals to Napoli, Napoli are 1st on GD/GS, Dortmund are 2nd.

    I think I have it right now :).

    As Arsene said it's best to go all out to win with our best squad because you don't want to finish second (or go out!) in the group stages. Am I right in thinking you can't be drawn against anyone in your group or other English clubs until later rounds? If so, the as things stand it looks like the best team we could face would be either Milan or Zenit. I'd rather put off facing Bayern, Real and co for as long as possible.
