    The Times claims Queens Park Rangers are ready to offer Tottenham Loic Remy in a bid to persuade them to let them sign Jermain Defoe on loan until March before he makes his expected switch to Toronto FC.

    How did you get "Cerny" and "right" in the same sentence?

    The only one i could think of is "Cerny is a right XXXXX...!" <laugh>

    Anyway, on a serious note, I heard that Defoe was supposed to come last year but wanted too much money...ITK !

    I've kept really quiet, but I'll tell you something, he went down in my estimation when he said that - we have not resorted to that. But I'll tell you - you can tell him now if you're watching it - we're still fighting for Defoe... and I tell you honestly, I will love it if we sign him, love it!
