    Swedish international defender so he's guaranteed to be quality <whistle>

    On a serious note there were a few clubs sniffing around so it's good to get him snapped up ASAP. Does anyone know whether we have to pay any compensation? <snigger><snigger>

    I've not seen any mention of compensation anywhere ST. The board seem to be very good at picking up players on free contracts. Ledley, Matthews, Mulgrew etc..

    I do know that "Lustig" is the German word for "funny", however.


    Don't worry about it. I'm sure it means nothing. He'll be a great signing.

    Apparently some top clubs in Europe were after his signature but Celtic beat them all to land this great prospect

    Is that not how these things normally go?

    Means the same in Swedish as well mate. Chatting to a few Swedish mates about him tonight, said he is quick and strong going forward, but not the greatest at defending.

    Just what we need, another Cha/El Kaddouri/Braafheid/Naylor etc etc....

    We do seem to have a history of signing defenders who are actually frustrated wingers/playmakers and look on defending as something of a sort of necessary evil
